I had to reset my Windows XP virtual machine to a virgin state, which completely wiped out my Outlook information - no problem, it’s on my PDA. - HA!
When I went to synch my T-Mobile Wing with the computer (so that I wouldn’t loose all of my data) ActiveSync asked me to delete a RELATIONSHIP because the device was currently synching with 2 computers.
Since I do not need to synch with any other machine I got rid of both RELATIONSHIPS and continued setting up the new relationship with the virgin system.
ACTIVESYNC DELETED EVERYTHING FROM MY WING!!!! I HAVE NOTHING NOW!! A relationship should not include data!!!!!
I think I’m going to be sick, I had everything on that. I am the kind of person who always has a redundant copy of everything so that this sort of thing won’t happen, and it was that redundant copy on the PC that I was attempting to reestablish when ActivSync deleted my original, I am seriously screwed if I can’t go back - PLEASE HELP!!!
I haven’t shut down or restarted anything, my trash bin is Norton protected and I do have an Index DAT Outlook file that was deleted at the right time, but won’t that only be the empty outlook info?
Does anyone know how to recover this data on the PDA hard drive? (I haven’t done a hard reset and the power has been consistent so it MUST be there somewhere right?
